Morag Barrett, MA, CFCIPD, SPHR, CCUG
CEO, Skye Associates LLC
Skye Associates is the brainchild of Morag Barrett (nee McLeod). Morag’s experience ranges from senior executive coaching to developing high potential teams across Europe, America and Asia. She is a highly effective speaker, trainer and executive coach.
Morag draws from a deep and unique operational skill set. Her corporate career started in retail banking with Royal Bank of Scotland Group in the UK. With 15 years experience in the finance industry, Morag understands the challenges of running a business as well as the complexities of leading and managing the people that are part of that business.
Prior to launching Skye Associates in 2007, Morag was responsible for global leadership and executive development in a US Telecoms company. Since launching Skye Associates she has had the opportunity to work with clients in a range of industries including, healthcare, telecoms, mining, manufacturing, engineering, and technology, among others.
Morag earned a Master of Human Resource Management and received the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation. She is also a recognized business coach for the Corporate Coach University and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK.
Morag has established herself very happily and firmly in Broomfield, Co. with her husband and 3 sons. For fun, in addition to time with her family, you’ll find Morag playing in the Broomfield Symphony Orchestra where she is the principal bassoonist or ballroom dancing. (It’s also possible she may simply be relaxing in front of an episode of Law & Order). As a footnote, her name is Scottish and means “great”.
Senior Vice President, Skye Associates, LLC.
Eric Spencer, Senior Vice President for Skye Associates, is a proven leader with more than eighteen years building and shaping Human Resources organizations. His experience includes human resources, executive and leadership development and organizational effectiveness to talent acquisition, performance management, M&A and integrations work. He has designed, developed and delivered human resources and leadership programs of varying complexity — from simple coaching courses to complete concepts – for organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to joining Skye Associates, Eric served in leadership capacities at P3 Group, 3C Network, Local Matters, Level 3 Communications, and Target Corporation, among others. His experience with organizations of varying sizes and business life cycle stages has provided him with a rich set of human resources and training and development experiences.
Eric holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Arizona State University, and an MBA with a focus in Organizational Behavior from Virginia Tech. He is an avid musician and spends his free time writing, recording and performing.
Lauri Brammeier, SPHR
Senior Vice President, Skye Associates, LLC.
Lauri Brammeier, Senior Vice President for Skye Associates, is an accomplished, dynamic leadership development professional. She has deep experience building organizational effectiveness and encouraging employee engagement through leadership and team development, performance management and change leadership. She is an effective leader and strategic thinker known for keen listening skills, insight and intuitive problem-solving.
Prior to joining Skye Associates, Lauri developed and delivered human resources and leadership development programs for FCC Services, Spectrum Leadership Development, Archstone, Level 3 Communications, and The Sports Authority, among others.
Lauri holds a Master of Professional Studies degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Denver and has earned the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) designation. She serves on the Board of the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Colorado Human Resources Association (CHRA), and is a volunteer instructor with Junior Achievement.
Lauri loves the outdoors and is an avid runner, hiker, telemark skier and mountain biker. Lauri also enjoys cooking and routinely tries out new recipes on unsuspecting family and friends.
Lorna Donovan
Executive Consultant, Skye Associates LLC
Lorna Donovan is an Executive Consultant with Skye Associates LLC, and specializes in leadership and business development strategies, client reinforcement and retention tactics. Her services include candidate profiling, coaching and clinics, management training, as well as tactical and strategic sales skills programs. The subjects she speaks on include: negotiation, developing rapport, interpreting behaviors, and self-confidence.
Lorna brings versatility and a successful track record from a wide-ranging set of industries. Besides consulting, she has nearly 18 years’ management experience with CareerTrack Seminars, Northwestern Mutual Life, Vectra Bank Colorado, netLibrary and Global Healthcare Exchange. Lorna facilitates continuing education as well as moderates national conferences. Early on she was part of a team of consultants for a $3 billion company that is the largest human resource management system distributor for Oracle Corporation.
For fun outside of work Lorna is known for finding any opportunity to get outside and be in the fresh air. You’ll find her hiking Colorado 14er’s, cross-country skiing, or biking all over the world. She’s also known for speaking her mind, so watch out, Lorna will tell you the truth!
Jonathan Gilbert, Grad CIPD
Executive Consultant, Skye Associates LLC
Jonathan Gilbert brings more than 25 years of leadership and management development experience working with international clients across Europe and the United States. He assists businesses in achieving their vision and goals through the motivation and development of staff. Jonathan is an excellent facilitator and communicator with an interactive approach to learning, working comfortably with all levels of leadership.
Jonathan designed two high-impact board games ‘Forest of Time™’ and ‘Treasure Seekers’ that build teamwork, leadership and project and time management skills. These games have successfully been used across Europe and recently had their debut in the US.
Prior to joining Skye, Jonathan held leadership and development positions with Discovery Training, Mpower UK, and Dynargie. He is based in France and holds a degree in Personnel Management and Development. When Jonathan is not working, he loves cycling the foothills of the French Pyrenees. He is an avid follower of the Tour De France. When the snow falls, you will find him in his element, skiing with a group of friends. This, of course is always followed by a hearty meal and a glass or two of red wine.
