- Identify and implement organizational performance solutions
- Facilitate stakeholders transition through organizational change
- Coach business leaders to higher performance
Many organizations have implemented an HR Business Partner approach focused on supporting current business needs and anticipating future business direction. However in many cases the HR Business Partner model has not delivered the full value-added activities it promised. This can be attributed to a number of fundamental reasons
- HR Managers and HR professionals unsure of what the term “HR Business Partner” means, what is expected of them, and how this may differ from other HR roles.
- HR Business Partners who do not have access to a toolkit and have received little or no training on how to be “strategic” or “change experts”.
- Line Managers who still expect a traditional HR service and therefore have misaligned expectations or are unclear on how and when to engage with an HR Business Partner.
To be successful, the HR Business Partner must understand the business in which they operate, have role clarity, the skills and the attitude to deliver real added value. It’s not enough to ask for a seat at the executive table; HR Business Partners must prove they have the business savvy necessary to contribute at the senior level.
The HR Business Partnering Program will provide HR professionals with an understanding of the HR Business Partner Competency Model and how to utilize a consultative approach to problem solving, relationship building and leadership coaching. Through discussion, reflection and group interaction, participants will grow their individual competencies, plans and strategies.
- Senior Human Resources, Employee Development, and Talent Management professionals
- HR Professionals who would like to enhance their business partnering competency
- Any HR professional looking for business partnering insight, tools, and techniques
This program is jointly delivered Skye Associates and Emergent Consultants and includes an abbreviated, one-day version of their Accelerating Change & Transformation (ACT)TM Workshop as one of its four modules.
